Technology has evolved from the 1800's until now greatly and it does every day. Two things that have happened in U.S history that are very important and useful are telephones and computers. Technology has both advantages and disadvantages.
Telephones were first invented on the year of 1876 by a man named Alexander Graham Bell. It is a device that converts sound and electrical waves into audible relays and is used for communication between two people. When telephones first came out, they required an operator at each end to connect the calls between users. But now that technology has grown, It now automatically connects. Before telephones were invented, people sent mail to each other.
The first computer was invented between 1936 and 1938 by German engineer Konrad Zuse, in his parents living room. This would be considered the first electro- mechanical binary programmable computer, and the first really functional modern computer. Today, computers are now used for things mostly online by a thing called internet "World Wide Web" which was invented by Tim Berners-Lee in 1990. Computers are used for many many things such as music, videos, accounting, word programming, processing and research.
Technology has developed greatly and people use it for about everything. It can have its good and bad but now a days it can break friendships apart and even family.
